Summertime can be very busy...and very inspirational!
I was inspired to write a new story about one boy's desire to be tall enough to ride the Bumper Cars while spending time on the Boardwalk in Point Pleasant, NJ with some kids last weekend.

Hmmm.. haven't found inspiration in the Olympics (yet) but a trip to a Whaling Museum in Sag Harbor during my vacation has given me ideas for a picture book and two middle grade novels.

DeleteOn my way to the summer conference in LA, and I anticipate many ideas being generated! On the drive down I filled up a page with ideas (while at stoplights, not while driving!)
ReplyDeleteAlso, the person who sub-letted my room for the summer turned out to be an amazing friend. We've gone on adventures and I've sketched so much! He's also turning into a character in a MG novel, he just doesn't know it yet :)
